Hope Jankunas and Jeremy Frederick were married on Sept. 7 at The Rhinecliff hotel, in Rhinecliff, with a reception following. She is a veterinarian for Middlehope Veterinary Hospital in Newburgh and the daughter of Gladys and Leonard Jankunas of Elmont. The bridegroom is a veterinarian and veterinary/equine internal medicine specialist for the Center for Veterinary Care in Millbrook and the son of Cheryl and Daniel Frederick of London, Ontario, Canada. The bride earned a doctor of veterinary medicine degree from the University of Florida. The groom earned a doctor of veterinary medicine from University of Guelph, Ontario. They live in Pleasant Valley upstate.
