Jenna Marie Gershowitz and Christian James Bannon were married July 22 at Lombardi's on the Sound in Port Jefferson with a reception following. She is a registered dietitian for Southside Hospital and is the daughter of Pamela and Bruce Gershowitz of Oakdale. The bridegroom is a mathematics teacher for Sayville High School and is the son of Lynn Butowski of Pen Argyl, Pa., and John Bannon of Coram. The bride earned a master's degree from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. The groom earned a master's degree from Stony Brook University. They live in Holtsville.
