She is a LEED certification reviewer for the Green Building Certification Institute in Washington, D.C., and is the daughter of John and Anna Capotosto of Northport, and Stan and Jennie Mechanic of Aiken, S.C. The bridegroom is an analyst for MICROS eCommerce in Washington, D.C., and is the son of Stefan and Edith Hofmaenner of Chester, Va. The bride and groom each earned a bachelor of science in integrated science and technology degree from James Madison University. They live in Washington, D.C.
