Izatt-Whalen

Jennifer Izatt and Michael Whalen were married Aug. 8 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Massapequa. The reception was at The Garden City Hotel. She is an elementary reading teacher for Sachem school district in Holtsville and is the daughter of Eileen and Raymond Izatt of Massapequa. The bridegroom is a social studies teacher for Malverne school district and is the son of Monika and Herbert Whalen of Bethpage. The bride earned a bachelor of arts in special education / elementary education from Marist College and a master's in literacy from Touro College. The groom earned a bachelor of arts in history from Dowling College and a master's in special education from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. They live in West Babylon.
