Jessica Wilson and Daniel Westervelt were married on Oct. 12 at Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst, with a reception following. She is an assistant professor of environmental engineering for Manhattan College in Riverdale and is the daughter of Jacqueline and Paul Wilson of West Islip. The groom is a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University and is the son of Kevin and Lois Westervelt of Knoxville, Tenn. The bride earned a bachelor's degree from Russell Sage College in Troy, a master's in environmental engineering from Manhattan College and a PhD from Carnegie Mellon. The groom earned a bachelor's degree from Purdue University and a master's in civil and environmental engineering and a PhD from Carnegie Mellon. They live in Manhattan.
