Julie Catan and Stephen Grossi were married Dec. 31 at the bride's home in Shoreham with a reception following. She teaches second grade for Fairfax County Schools in Virginia and is the daughter of Susan and Christopher Catan of Shoreham. The bridegroom is a U.S. Marine stationed in Norfolk, Va., and is the son of Patty Grossi of Rocky Point and Sam Grossi of Levittown. The bride earned a bachelor of science in education from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. The groom graduated from Comsewogue High School. They live in Alexandria, Va.
