The bridegroom is a financial adviser for Ameriprise Financial in Garden City and is the son of Nell von Arx of Farmingville. The bride earned a juris doctor from University of Maryland's School of Law. The groom earned a bachelor of arts from SUNY New Paltz. They live in Long Beach.
