Kristin Noel Alfano and Colin Owen Sparks were married June 2 at St. Mark's Church in Shoreham. The reception was at Giorgio's at Fox Hill in Baiting Hollow. She is a substitute teacher and also works for the Rocky Point Animal Hospital and is the daughter of Joseph and Linda Alfano of Shoreham. The bridegroom is a New York City police officer and is the son of John and Patricia Sparks of Rocky Point. The bride earned a bachelor's degree in visual arts and a master's degree in elementary education and special education from Dowling College. The groom earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice at John Jay College. They live in Suffolk County.
