Laura Bonica and Nicholas Pomponio were married June 4 at St. Anselm Church in Brooklyn. The reception was at Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage State Park. She is an art teacher on Long Island and is the daughter of Providence and Ronald Bonica of Holbrook. The bridegroom is a project manager for a contracting company in New York City and is the son of Terry Lynn Pomponio of Brooklyn and Prosperina and Roberto Pomponio of Brooklyn. The bride earned a master's degree in art education from Hofstra University. The groom earned a bachelor's degree in construction management from Pratt Institute. They live in Brooklyn.
