Laura Hunsberger and Edward Pekarek were married Feb. 16 at the Daniel Patrick Moynihan U.S. Courthouse in Manhattan. The reception was at City Hall Restaurant. She is a plant pathology researcher for Cornell University in Riverhead and is the daughter of Polly and Donald Hunsberger of Pittsford upstate. The bridegroom is a securities law professor for Pace Law School in White Plains and is the son of Margaret and Edward Pekarek of Munson Township, Ohio. The bride earned a master's of science degree from University of Massachusetts. The groom earned a juris doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a master's of law from Fordham University School of Law. They live in Peconic.
