Lauren DeVita and Douglas Barritt were married April 28 at Sacred Heart Church in Merrick. The reception was at The Watermill in Smithtown. The bride is a teacher for Solomon Schechter School of Queens and is the daughter of Kenneth and Rita DeVita of Merrick. The bridegroom is an actuarial consultant for Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting Inc. in Melville and is the son of Ken and Pam Barritt of Massapequa. They live in Oakland Gardens, Queens.
