She works for a global public relations firm and is the daughter of Ray and Diane Olsen of Smithtown. The bridegroom is a Web designer and the son of Harry and Virginia Herchert of Fairfax, Va. The bride earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from James Madison University in Virginia. The groom earned a bachelor of arts from Monmouth University in New Jersey. They live in Arlington, Va.
