Lizette Anne Blohm and Ryan Robert Reed were wed Aug. 6 at St. James Catholic Church in Red Bank, N.J., with a reception at the Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank. She is an emergency veterinarian for South Carolina Veterinary Emergency Care and is the daughter of Janet and James Blohm of Amityville. The bridegroom is an assistant professor of naval science at the University of South Carolina and is the son of Noreen and Robert Reed of Atlantic Highlands, N.J. The bride earned a veterinarian medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine. The groom earned a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Villanova University and served as an officer on the submarine USS Helena (SSN 725). They live in Chapin, S.C.
