Lynne O'Brien and William Kuykendall were married Dec. 28 at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. The reception was at The Mirage in Las Vegas. She is a special-education teacher for Lake Washington school district in Sammamish, Wash., and is the daughter of Marianne and Wayne Carpentiere of Mastic Beach and the late John O'Brien. The bridegroom is a carpenter for Eary Construction in Seattle and is the son of Joan and Bill Kuykendall of Reardon, Wash. The bride earned a master's in education from Antioch University and a master's in special education from Seattle Pacific University. The groom earned a bachelor of arts from Eastern Washington University. They live in Seattle.
