Margaret Bucknum Brinley and Christopher Frank Carr were married Oct. 1 at Mallard Island Yacht Club in Manahawkin, N.J. She is a registered nurse in the transplant unit for New York University Medical Center in Manhattan and is the daughter of Maryann and Bob Brinley of Upper Montclair, N.J. The bridegroom is a supervisor for SCO Family of Services in Brooklyn and is the son of Debra and Frank Carr Jr. of West Islip. The bride earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University, a degree in massage therapy from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. The groom earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Stony Brook University and a master of science in education with a specialization in counseling from Hofstra University. They live in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
