Melissa Elizabeth Nunnenkamp and Thomas F. Maher Jr. were wed May 12 at St. Michael Church in Avon, Mass., with a reception at Sons of Italy in Quincy, Mass. She is a lawyer for Goodwin Procter in Boston and is the daughter of Virginia Kirkup of Bay Shore and Paul Nunnenkamp of Falls Church, Va., and the stepdaughter of Charles Kirkup IV and Debby E. Nunnenkamp. The groom is a software quality assurance engineer for Intralinks in Charlestown, Mass., and is the son of Cassandra Maher of Brockton, Mass., and Thomas Maher of Waltham, Mass. The bride earned a bachelor's degree in Italian from the College of the Holy Cross and a juris doctor from Boston University School of Law. The groom earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Bridgewater State College and a master's degree in software engineering from Brandeis University. They live in Brockton.
