Melissa Mayer and Marcel Charlesworth were married Oct. 10 at St. Anthony's Church in Oceanside. The reception was at the Watermill Caterers in Smithtown. She teaches Spanish for the Rockville Centre school district and is the daughter of Meli and Robert Mayer of Oceanside. The bridegroom is a utility mechanic for Con Edison and is the son of Tammy and Mike Charlesworth of Portland, Maine. The bride earned a master's degree from Molloy College. The groom graduated from Portland High School. They live in Oceanside.
