Wedding: Meredith Dougherty, Matthew Picone

Meredith Dougherty and Matthew Picone were wed July 9 at Sts. Philip and James Church in St. James. The reception was at the Fox Hollow in Woodbury. She is a psychologist for Rocky Point Public School and is the daughter of Jean Salerno of Smithtown and Robert Dougherty of Akron, Ohio. The bridegroom is assistant vice president and branch manager for a commercial bank and is the son of Ann Picone of Ronkonkoma. The bride earned a master's from Long Island University's Brooklyn campus. The groom graduated from Smithtown High School. They live in Selden.
