Stephanie Madden and Michael Runkel were married July 13 at East Wind Inn in Wading River with a reception following. She is a medical assistant for Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group in Massapequa and is the daughter of Josephine and Walter Madden of Lindenhurst. The bridegroom is the groundsman for an estate in Locust Valley and is the son of Donna and Christopher Runkel of Lindenhurst. The bride graduated from Lindenhurst High School. The groom earned a bachelor's degree from Farmingdale State College. They live in Locust Valley.
