She is a sports anchor and reporter for SirusXM, News 12 Networks and MSG Varsity and is the daughter of Jack and Shirley Stark of Omaha. The bridegroom is a news reporter and fill-in anchor for News 12 Connecticut and is the son of Perry and Ellen Mesmer of Northport. The bride earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication and a master of arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The groom earned a bachelor of arts from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. They live in Stamford, Conn.
