Banta-Ward

Tina Banta and Brian Ward were married July 16 at St. Lucy's Church in Middletown, R.I. The reception was at Belle Mer in Newport, R.I. She is a special-education teacher for Wantagh School District and is the daughter of Vincentina and Anthony Banta of Oceanside. The bridegroom is a guidance counselor for Wantagh School District and is the son of Karen and Robert Ward of Massapequa. The bride earned a master's degree in Math, Science and Technology from Hofstra University. The groom earned a master's degree in school counseling from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. They live in Long Beach.
