Valerie Sue Buscemi and Chad Scott Lerner were wed Oct. 2 at The Metropolitan in Glen Cove with a reception following. She is the program outreach director for the Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay in East Norwich and is the daughter of Joseph and Helen Buscemi of Syosset. The bridegroom is manager of the family-owned business, Mike the Glazier, in Mineola and Flushing and is the son of Sharon and Lance Lerner of Plainview. The bride earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. The groom earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Johnson & Wales University. They live in Plainview.
