Vanessa Rivero and Christopher Kelly were married Sept. 11 at St. Raymond's Church in East Rockaway. The reception was at The Fox Hollow in Woodbury. She is a Spanish and ESL teacher for Evergreen Charter School in Hempstead and is the daughter of Alicia and Ernie Rivero of East Rockaway. The groom is a plumber with Local 1 Plumbers Union of New York City and veteran of the U.S. Air Force and is the son of Shelley and Jack Kelly of East Rockaway. The bride earned a master's degree in education from Molloy College. The groom graduated from East Rockaway High School. They live in East Rockaway.
