Yvette Marie Cannon and Clinton Reid Claussen were married July 7 at St. Joachim Church in Cedarhurst. The reception was at The Coral House in Baldwin. She is a sales associate for J.C. Penney in Valley Stream and is the daughter of Lisa and Robert Cannon of Lawrence. The bridegroom is a sales associate for Trader Joe's in Hewlett and is the son of Kathleen and William Claussen of Atlantic, Iowa. The bride eared a bachelor of fine arts from Adelphi University. The groom earned a bachelor's in philosophy from the University of Iowa. They live in Lawrence.
