The bridegroom is a sales associate for Trader Joe's in Hewlett and is the son of Kathleen and William Claussen of Atlantic, Iowa. The bride eared a bachelor of fine arts from Adelphi University. The groom earned a bachelor's in philosophy from the University of Iowa. They live in Lawrence.
