The bridegroom is a veterinary nurse for Great Neck Animal Hospital and is the son of Marie Martinez of Orlando, Fla., and Gerardo Martinez of Houston. The bride earned a bachelor of science in biology from Stony Brook University and a doctor of veterinary medicine from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. The groom earned an associate degree in veterinary nursing and a bachelor of science in biology from Queens College. They live in Great Neck.
