Adam Schwam of Lynbrook was recently honored at the eighth annual Butterfly Auction & Dinner of the Marcie Mazzola Foundation, a Commack-based nonprofit that assists abused and at-risk children. Schwam, who was honored based on his community involvement, is founder and president of Sandwire, a Garden City-based technology consulting firm. He's a member of the Huntington Chamber of Commerce, Long Island Association and the Hauppauge Industrial Association. He has also participated in fundraisers to benefit the Long Island Fight for Charity and the Coalition Against Child Abuse and Neglect in Bethpage.
