Adrienne Giannone of Smithtown has received the 2011 Next Generation Entrepreneur Award from the Long Island Technology Hall of Fame based on her contributions to Long Island's science and technology communities. Giannone is president, founder and CEO of Edge Electronics in Bohemia, which has been in business for 20 years. She is also a board member of Long Island Software & Technology Network, a supporter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation and a sponsor of an annual golf outing to benefit the Huntington Breast Cancer Coalition.
