Brian Dunn of New Hyde Park has been named Referee of the Year by the New York Metro Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association as well as Eastern New York Referee of the Year based on nominations from colleagues in the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association and Eastern New York State Senior Soccer Association. Dunn is a national referee for Major League Soccer and also officiates at games locally for the Long Island Junior Soccer League. He was chosen as the top referee from among more than 2,000 registered referees in Eastern New York.
