Butch Yamali of Merrick was recently named Man of the Year by the Center for Developmental Disabilities in Woodbury in recognition of his support to the center. Yamali is president of the Dover Group, a food service company in Freeport, and owns Hudsons on the Mile in Freeport, Coral House catering in Baldwin, and the Malibu oceanfront complex and Sands Catering Hall, both in Lido Beach. He also heads Quick Snack Vending and is a supporter of the Pat Cairo Family Foundation and Pronto of Long Island, an outreach center in Bay Shore.
