Carmelina Oliveira of Levittown will be honored in February at the American Heart Association's 13th annual Long Island Go Red for Women Luncheon for her "commitment to support and create awareness about heart disease and stroke especially as it pertains to women," the organization said. She is president and founder of Oliveira Contracting in Albertson, which has focused on commercial and heavy construction in New York since 2003. She is also a supporter of organizations including the Kicking 4 Celiac Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
