Christine Dose of Commack recently received the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Classified Service from Farmingdale State College chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher for serving the campus and students with "absolute excellence." Dose is secretary to the college's vice president for student affairs and often volunteers at various campus events such as open houses, commencements and blood drives. She also volunteers with Island Harvest in Mineola, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
