Christine Glaser of Huntington Station has received a President's CARES (Commendation and Recognition for Exceptional Service) Award from Farmingdale State College for "consistently delivering outstanding performance and service" to the college community, the college said. Glaser, a registered nurse, is an assistant professor in Farmingdale's Department of Nursing in the Theresa Patnode Santmann School of Health Sciences. She is also pursuing a doctorate in nursing, teaches CPR certification and recertification to students and faculty, and volunteers in flu and vaccine clinics at Farmingdale State College and at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown.
