Christopher Erikson of Massapequa recently received the Francis J.P. McHale Memorial Award from the Friends of Saint Dominic's based on his "lifelong commitment to philanthropy and support" of Saint Dominic's Home, a Catholic social welfare nonprofit in Blauvelt. Erikson is a business manager for Local Union No. 3, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and previously held the positions of assistant business manager and business representative. He is also active with a number of local organizations including UJA-Federation of New York, Catholic Council of Electrical Workers and Boy Scouts of America.
