Christopher T. McGrath of Hewlett has received the 2012 Attorney Professionalism Award from the New York State Bar Association based on his "high standards of professionalism and commitment to promoting respect for the legal system." McGrath is a personal injury attorney and partner at Garden City-based law firm Sullivan Papain Block McGrath & Cannavo, past president of the Nassau County Bar Association, and an adjunct professor at Hofstra University School of Law. He has also chaired the association's Judiciary Committee and served as co-chair of the WE CARE Fund, which is the association's charitable arm.
