Craig Vincent Rizzo of Woodbury has been selected to receive the 2012 Distinguished Trustee Award next month from the United Hospital Fund based on his "extraordinary leadership and service" to Nassau University Medical Center. Rizzo is chairman of Nassau Health Care Corp.'s (NuHealth) board of directors and is a founding member of the Long Island Medical Foundation's board of directors, which is the corporation's philanthropic arm. He is also a founding advisory board member of the North Shore-LIJ Health System's Feinstein Medical Research Institute and serves on the advisory board of Franklin Hospital Medical Center in Valley Stream.
