Dr. Russell Fumuso of Garden City was recently honored at the Hispanic Brotherhood of Rockville Centre's annual Scholarship Dinner for his longtime support of the organization over the past 30 years. Fumuso, a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery with premium lens implantation, is a founding partner of Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island, established in 1999. He also gives free presentations about eye health and is a member of the Nassau County and New York medical societies and Long Island and New York ophthalmological societies, among other organizations.
