Elaine Rudman of Oakdale was recently named 2010 Employee of the Year by Purolator International, a provider of U.S.-Canada logistics services, based on her efforts as a "behind-the-scenes dynamo who has an extraordinary ability to juggle many complex responsibilities," company officials said. Rudman is a billing operations supervisor in Purolator's Farmingdale facility, where she trains and supervises staff in the billing department and troubleshoots issues focusing on customer needs. She joined the company four years ago as an accounts payable supervisor.
