Frank Zizzo of Levittown was recently named 2013 Savvy Senior King by the Association of Generational Experts for Seniors in recognition of his "avid Long Island community volunteerism," the organization said. Since returning from the Korean War in 1952, Zizzo has been involved with community organizations such as the Knights of Columbus and the Long Island Society for Italian Americans, for which he currently serves as board chairman. He also has served on the board of directors for the Fulton Street Seniors Program in Brooklyn and has participated in its Meals on Wheels program.
