Frederick E. Bryant of East Setauket has received the inaugural Community Leader Award at a Holiday Celebration Gala & Silent Auction coordinated by the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook based on his contributions to the local community. Bryant is president of Bryant Funeral Home in Port Jefferson Station and is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and Cremation Association of North America, among other organizations. He also serves on several local boards including ones for Three Village Meals on Wheels and the Emma S. Clarke Memorial Library in East Setauket.
