Gerard Holler of Northport recently received the Insp. Matthew J. Simeone Memorial Member of the Year Award at the 2012 Person of the Year Awards Dinner of ASIS International. Holler has been director of security at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory since 2002 and before that served in various commands with the New York City Police Department. He is also president of the Long Island Metropolitan Area College and University Consortium and chair of the advisory board of InfraGard Members Alliance's Long Island Chapter.
