Glen Cherveny, Managing partner

 

Glen Cherveny of Bayport has received the Long Island Advocate for Accessibility Award from the Suffolk Community Council based on his efforts to bring accessibility standards -- such as doorways that allow for wheelchairs -- to Long Island towns and also to become part of the New York State Building Code. Cherveny has been a managing partner with Alexrod & Cherveny Architects in Commack since 1997. He is also involved with the Long Island Builders Institute, Long Island Real Estate Group and the United Way of Long Island.
