Howard Fensterman of Hewlett Harbor has been named "Man of the Year" by the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America's Long Island Chapter based on his dedication and service to the nonprofit. Fensterman, a member of the foundation's board of trustees, is a founding member and managing partner of the Lake Success-based law firm Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger Llp. He was also appointed to the Public Health and Healthy Planning Council by then-New York Gov. David A. Paterson.
