James Reed of Oceanside received the Outstanding Service Award at the 2012 Person of the Year Awards Dinner of ASIS International. Reed is former deputy commissioner of the Nassau County Office of Consumer Affairs and has served as government liaison chair for ASIS International's Long Island Chapter. He has also been on the board of directors of Nassau County Police Explorers and Nassau County Salvation Army and has been a super-distinguished lieutenant governor in Kiwanis International.
