Jane Lottes of Brookville recently received the Spirit of Hope Award from the Lutheran Schools Association for helping her school raise more than $19 million during her tenure for capital additions, program enhancements and the school's endowment. Lottes, a member of the association's board of directors in Maspeth, has served as director of development for Long Island Lutheran Middle & High School in Brookville since 1995. She is also board chair for the Lutheran Counseling Center in Mineola and has previously served on boards for the Association of Lutheran Development Executives and the Thrivent Financial for Lutheran's Eastern Nassau County Chapter.
