Jane Schwartz of Port Washington recently received the Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer Award from the Association of Fundraising Professional's Long Island Chapter for her "devotion to improving the quality of life for others." Schwartz has served as president of the North Shore Child & Family Guidance Association and is currently active on the boards of directors for Rotacare in Uniondale, Community Advocates in Port Washington, and the Interfaith Nutrition Network in Hempstead. She also has been a director of development for AIDSFilms and a volunteer fundraiser for ERASE Racism in Syosset.
