Jason Davidow, Assistant professor

 

Jason Davidow of Long Beach has received the 2010 Advancing Academic-Research Careers Award from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association based on his "academic and research endeavors in the field of communication sciences and disorders." Davidow is an assistant professor of speech-language-hearing sciences at Hofstra University in Hempstead and researches speech production changes during fluency-inducing conditions, which are speaking styles that temporarily eliminate stuttering. He is also a member of the National Stuttering Association.
