Jeffrey D. Forchelli of Lattingtown has received the 2011 Frederic Ozanam Award from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn based on his efforts to support the Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens. Forchelli is founder and managing partner of Melville-based law firm Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn & Terrana, where he concentrates on real estate and land use matters. He is also a past president of Community Mainstreaming Associates in Garden City, a trustee of Brooklyn Law School and Wagner College in Staten Island, and a vice chairman of the Nassau County Republican Committee.
