John Costanzo of East Norwich, president of the Jericho-based freight forwarding company Purolator International, was recently honored at Long Island Cares -- The Harry Chapin Food Bank's 2013 Long Island Cares Golf Classic in recognition of Purolator's coordination of food drives and "generous financial support," the organization said. Costanzo has been Purolator president since 2001 and previously held positions of senior vice president of Emery Air Freight Corp.'s Eastern Division and president of TNT Post Group's International Mail Division of the Americas Region. He is also on the board of directors of the Long Island Association and United Way of Long Island.
