John F. Coghlan of Rockville Centre recently received the Bishop John R. McGann Lifetime Achievement Award from Friends of Mercy Medical Center in recognition of his volunteer efforts in support of the Rockville Centre-based facility. Coghlan was a managing director at Lehman Brothers for nearly three decades, serving in numerous management capacities and as a member of the firm's fixed income and equity division management committees, and then joined Barclays Capital in 2008 before retiring. He is a founder of the Dorothy Rodbell Cohen Foundation for Sarcoma Research, an adjunct professor and trustee at Molloy College, and serves on the board of Data Storage Corp. in Garden City.
