Joseph A. Quagliata of Rockville Centre has received the Rev. Monsignor Thomas J. Hartman Award from the Advancement for Commerce, Industry & Technology in recognition of his long-term dedication and commitment to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside. Quagliata has served as the hospital's president and chief executive since 1998 and also has held the position of chief financial officer. In addition, he is the immediate past chairman of the Healthcare Association of New York State's board of trustees and is a past chairman of the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council's board of directors.
